NORMAN, Okla. — With one week before an Iron Bowl that could have decided Alabama football’s path to the SEC Championship Game and the College Football Playoff, Oklahoma answered the Crimson Tide’s questions one week early.
The Sooners stunned No. 7 Alabama, dominating the Crimson Tide 24-3 on Saturday night at Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium and handing Alabama its third SEC loss of the season.
Alabama has three losses in a season for the first time since 2010.
The Crimson Tide’s struggles were shouldered by Jalen Milroe, who threw three interceptions, one of which was returned for a touchdown.
Alabama will face Auburn in the Iron Bowl at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at Bryant-Denny Stadium on ABC.

Alabama trails Oklahoma at halftime. The Sooners scored an 18-yard touchdown run late in the second quarter, capping off a 242-yard first half. Oklahoma limited Alabama to 97 yards of offense.

5:14, Q1: At first look, Jalen Milroe connected with Ryan Williams for a highlight-reel 41-yard score where the freshman spun an Oklahoma defensive back out of his shoes. The call was later reversed after a review caught Williams out of bounds. WIlliams was given a first down after a 30-yard reception.

No. 7 Alabama 35, Oklahoma 10: Alabama’s efficient offense may take some time to get going, especially against an Oklahoma defense that has the tendency to create havoc in opposing backfields. But the Crimson Tide defense should be enough by itself against one of the worst offenses in college football statistically to lead to a comfortable road victory.
Alabama vs. Oklahoma should see clear skies Saturday night in Norman. According to the National Weather Service, fans at Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium should expect a low around 54 degrees with a south wind between 14 and 18 mph.

While Saturday will be the first SEC meeting between Alabama and Oklahoma, the Crimson Tide and the Sooners have seen each other before.
Alabama won its last meeting against Oklahoma in the 2018 Sugar Bowl 45-34 for a trip to the College Football Playoff National Championship against Clemson. The Crimson Tide’s CFP win ended a three-game Oklahoma win streak against Alabama including a regular-season home-and-home in 2002 and 2003.
